São João das Crianças - Brampton
The festival began at 12:15 pm with a mass in honour of São João Batista followed by a procession around the church at 1:30 pm. At one point, the procession stopped at the side of the church for the unveiling of a new statue of Jesus recently erected in one of the church gardens.
After the religious portion of the festival, all participants continued the celebration in the church hall, with a concert by BLPB and performances by folklore dance groups, "Marchas de São João" and local artists.
